Heya!
If you’re reading this, I’m assuming you can at least tolerate my existence. Fancy pushing it to the next level and becoming actual friends?
Then allow me to introduce you to Special Guest where we can bond over some excellent conversations/secrets told/party tricks displayed/talents exhibited (or, if that’s not your thing – a friendly chat before or after)

Special Guest is the event where the audience are the speakers.
Anyone can take the stage for 60 seconds. Anything goes.
It’s a space where we can let go of who we’re supposed to be and embrace who we really are… so it’s a celebration of the funny, weird, wild, deep, heart-breaking, random experiences of being human.
Previously, members of the audience have taken the mic to… share their grandma’s wisdom, talk about what they had for lunch, apologise to their vagina, list the things they love about themselves, pun on command, say what they wish they’d said to their ex, talk about nothing, ask for a hug, serenade the audience, thank their mum, eat 23 marshmallows, read an ode to plantain, play ‘Ice Ice Baby’ on the recorder, find a date, and much more.
How it works:
– Listen, clap, cheer. Support your fellow special guests.
– Share something on stage for 60 seconds: a thought, a feeling, an idea, a story, your party trick, anything goes! (optional)
Want to come but not sure what to share? Come anyway. Sit back, listen, and enjoy the ride. If you feel inspired, you can take the mic whenever feels right.
Special Guest hosted by Jim Chapman
7pm-10pm on Friday 16th August at Kindred in Hammersmith
It’s quite honestly one of my favourite nights out in London, hope to see some of you there!
