WHAT I GOT UP TO (23rd – 27th APRIL)

Hello everyone!

There have been big changes over at ‘Jim Chapman HQ’ (otherwise known as my house).  Up until last week, I had been working lots on my screenplay and travelling all over the place for work. All brilliant stuff, but it meant I didn’t have time for youtube videos, social media bits and blog posts. But then I met Georgia. She’s my new creative assistant/boss. Basically, it’s her job to make sure I create epic content while still having time to write.

Which means the blog posts are back!

Here’s what I got up to last week.

MONDAY

This was the first day of Georgia’s second week (the first week being a TONNE of admin) so we had a good old brain storm and planned all sorts of incredible things that will be coming your way soon.

I also had a chance to work a little on my new screenplay. I’ve finished my first one (for now… there may be more to do if/when someone decides they like it enough to make it) and have, what I think is a lovely idea for my next story. But this is the bit that takes the most time and brain power. Trying to construct a story that makes sense from the seedling in my head.

It’ll be a while before I’m ready to start anything that looks remotely like a script. For now it’s pen, paper, and a lot of scribbles.

TUESDAY

On Tuesday I was on set in a very sexy cinema shooting something that you may see quite soon. I can’t say anymore than that, but I can tell you that I’ll be going to Cannes Film Festival next week.

I am excited!

It was also Georgia’s first time seeing me on set. She said she found it interesting and that I did a good job (then again, it was only her second week and she may have been saying it to keep me happy).

WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday I actually got to film something for my channel! You may have noticed that so far this year I have only really put out vlogs. That’s because vlogs can come with me as I travel and work. I haven’t had the time to set up my camera properly and film proper videos.

As you can see from the smile on my face, it felt good to be back at it… also, I made cocktails which always makes me happy.

THURSDAY

Thursday was a bloody wonderful day. I popped over to Zoe and Alfie’s to appear in a photo shoot for Zoe’s new book, Cordially Invited. Alf, Zoe, Poppy, Sean, Joe and Mark were all there and we had the best time, despite the clouds and rain. It really did feel like old times. And I smashed my first ever piñata!

FRIDAY

Unfortunately I have no picture for Friday, but you didn’t miss much (unless you count me wearing about a million face masks for a video I filmed for the GQ website as much).

New posts coming at you weekly(ish) from now on.

BIG LOVE!
