I hate to break it to you but Winter has arrived. The clocks have gone backwards, it gets dark after lunch and it’s starting to get a lot colder.
The good news is that it’s time to bring out the Winter coats!
The 90’s have been going through a big resurgence over the past few seasons and with the cold weather drawing in, that means Parka coats.
This one is from Converse and it’s brilliant. It has pockets everywhere (I actually lost my car keys for a solid 5 minutes because I couldn’t remember which one they were in) and is very warm.
It has a classic Parka silhouette with a chunky hood and real utility feel.
Seeing as everything else in this look is black, I wanted to inject a little colour.
That’s where my little Toucan friend from CH Carolina Herrera comes in.
I love this top and I’ve had a lot of compliments on it.
My jeans, as usual are Levis 512’s, which are my go-to style. Slim, but not skinny, they taper at the ankle but aren’t super tight at the thigh or calf.
Guess what: Converse now come in a Winter-ready variety. I usually put them away in favour of leather boots at this time of year, but these ones are more insulated and now waterproof. Genius!
